Following new features are available:
- GeoT*SOL basic simulates heat pump systems, as required in combination with solar thermal collectors.
- All heat pump systems can be simulated with either air/water or brine/water heat pumps.
- The required depth of the geothermal probe(s) can be calculated.
- The seasonal performance factor is calculated with the help of the dynamic simulation to the minute for the entire heat pump system over a year.
- Simple project management.
- The heat pumps and collectors are organized in a database. This makes some convenient functions available, such as favorites management and the ability to search within the text tables.
- The database can be updated via the internet independently of the program.
- Ability to enter own heat pumps into the database.
- Interactive map for climate data selection.
- About 2000 world wide climate data records.
- When entering the orientation of the collector field now South always corresponds to 180 degrees.
- Financial analysis: the heating price is calculated as an average over the expected lifetime.
- Results are presented in a clear project report.
