PV*SOL Expert 5.5 R1 is now available!

PV*SOL Expert 5.5 R1
Following new features are included:
- new coverable object: Open Area and Tilted Open Area for planning of ground mounted systems (maximum size 300 x 300 m or 980 x 980 ft)
- configuration of different pv arrays to one inverter with multiple MPP trackers in 3D
- manual module configuration in 3D
- optimization of the module configuration (e.g. meander configuration)
- new possibility of positioning 3D objects by entering distances
- imperial units
- rotation of several objects at a time (only if planned on Open Areas)
- new textures in 3D
- entries of losses in one array can be adopted to all other sub arrays
- SAP 2012 climate data are now available for UK
- UNI 10249 climate data are now available for Italy
- new German DWD climate data for 1981-2010
The system requirements have changed as follows:
- Internet access
- Processor: 2,5 GHz Pentium PC
- Memory: 2 GB
- Free hard disk space: 700 MB
- Monitor resolution: at least 1.024 x 768 Pixel
- Operating systems: Windows XP Service pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7
- Graphics: 3D, DirectX (at least version 9.0c) compatible, 512 MB, OpenGL support
- Other: Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 Service pack 1
