Can the Valentin software also calculate locations in the southern hemisphere?
Yes. The software calculations are using angles, i.e. an azimuth of 0 is always based on the position of the sun at its highest point (i.e. 12.00 noon).
For the northern hemisphere as follows:
Azimuth 0 = south, -90° = east, 90° = west, 180° = north
And for the southern hemisphere:
Azimuth 0 = north, -90° = west, 90° = east, 180° = south
